The Assistant Professor will successfully teach mathematics core-curriculum courses, publish research in professional journals, and secure external research funding.

Essential Duties Summary

Successfully teach Mathematics core-curriculum courses. Publish research in professional Journals. Secure external research funding and build a research program in their area of specialty. Contribute to the department’s both graduate and undergraduate teaching mission. Demonstrate a commitment to service on university, college and departmental committees. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and congeniality in working with diverse students, faculty, and staff.



Hiring Range Commensurate with experience.

An earned Ph.D degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Computational Applied Mathematics from an accredited institution.
